About

B’more Invested strives to give community members a say in how investors use new philanthropic funds. By entering the core values of racial equity, justice, community transformation, and collaboration, this initiative brings together more than 30 community and charitable leaders to serve on the Grant Advisory Team and distribute more than $2.3 million in pooled, private capital. The Grand Advisory Team’s mission is to identify and fund efforts to support community-based alternative solutions to address community safety issues. B’More Invested is an initiative developed by OSI-Baltimore and Baltimore’s Promise.

Project Goal

Talooka Studio partnered with Waldron Strategies to develop a visual identity and tagline to prepare B’More Invested for the initial launch. The organization’s board shared its vision with much strategic effort during brand workshops and meetings. We spoke with community leaders to create a mark representing empowerment and the community perspective.

B’More Invested expressed their desire to serve their community and the need to be seen as an approachable and collaborative member within that space. Through our process, we honed in on a relatable and bold approach to their visual identity, reflecting their vital mission to empower and develop resources for their community’s safety.
