Talooka Studio and Pride South Side Festival
Pride South Side is a fiscal program of the Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago. Talooka Studio crafted a vibrant visual identity for the Pride South Side Festival for the past 7 years, reflecting its mission to create safe spaces and amplify LGBTQ+ voices in Chicago’s South Side. Inspired by community celebration, our design featured bold, inclusive colors and subtle cultural elements.

Each year, we developed a distinct and creative theme, ensuring a fresh yet cohesive festival identity. This approach allowed for evolving visual storytelling while maintaining brand recognition. We designed a flexible brand system with an adaptable logo, color palette, and typography for seamless use across print and digital assets. This ensured consistency in wayfinding signage, banners, event swag, and social media imagery. Emphasizing movement and togetherness, the design guided attendees across venues while highlighting local artists and community programs. Talooka Studio’s approach fostered both celebration and meaningful dialogue.
